Sinds begin 2020 staat Covid-19 centraal in de actualiteit in België en in de wereld. België is tijdens de eerste golf met de vinger gewezen omwille van het zeer hoog aantal Covid-19-overlijdens in verhouding tot haar bevolking, waarbij vooral het Brussels Hoofdstedelijk Gewest werd getroffen. Maar hoe zit het in werkelijkheid?

Focus nr. 39 van het BISA schenkt aandacht aan de oversterfte die in het voorjaar van 2020 in Brussel en in België is geregistreerd.
